About Savor the Flavor

Savor is a showcase of the Region's premier wine, beer and spirit producers, chefs and culinary personalities, unique restaurants and kitchen/cooking-related products. Produced by TASTE Tri-Cities Magazine, the event benefits Oasis School, the small school for big minds in Richland, WA. It was held in the TRAC in Pasco, WA.

Restaurants offered tapa-sized portions of their signature dishes. Wineries, breweries and distilleries offered tastings.

Great Fun!

We had a blast at the event. Getting to meet restaurant owners from around the Tri-Cities was great as we don't often get to do that. The food tasting was great and the public's response to our offerings really reinforced our dedication to the quality and taste of our dishes.

We were able to meet celebrity chef, Melissa d'Arabian, star of the Food Network's show "Ten Dollar Dinners." Melissa was a wonderful person, very down-to-earth and genuinely friendly. On Friday evening, we served her a dinner of our buffalo chicken pasta and carrot cake, for which she was grateful and thoroughly enjoyed.

Victoria's Cooking Demonstration

Our baker, soup creator and resident foodie, Victoria, performed a cooking demonstration of our scratch sugar-free carrot cake with cream cheese icing. She had the crowd eating out of her hands (figuratively, of course).

Kids Had Fun Too!

Our daughter attended the event with us on Saturday and the kid's events kept her busy and happy all day...no easy feat with a six-year-old. The event offered kid's cooking classes, crafts and a cooking demonstration by Melissa d'Arabian and her lovely young daughters.
